Tell us about yourself.
Tough question to answer without blowing my cover. I’m in my late 20s, a local guy with a slightly mixed heritage, and in the past I spent some time as a lecturer in a local private college. Nowadays I work in a regular 9-5 corporate job.
How did you get into doing what you’re doing right now?
Right now, I’m just working a regular office job to finance my other interests, but I got into lecturing basically through networking. I met some people at a dinner and by luck the discussion went towards the possibility of me working for them, so I took the offer.
Where did/do you get your inspiration from?
My stories are all confessions. As far as passions are concerned, my subject matter is probably the biggest thing about my life. My sexuality is very important to me, and I’m constantly looking for more ways to express myself authentically in that regard.
Do you have a special process of writing, or any kind of ritual pre or post writing?
I believe in forcing myself to write a draft no matter how shitty it may be. I expect my first draft to be absolute shit, which is fine as long as its done. From there, I edit repeatedly until I’m satisfied that it’ll encourage the reactions I hope for; personally, for me to feel like I’ve expressed myself without holding back, and for my readers, for my words to crawl into their heads and generate images that’ll titillate them in all the right ways.
What kind of stories do you personally gravitate towards on AL?
Nothing in particular. I read all sorts.
What content would you like to see more of?
I’d like to see more content revolving around sexual experiences. The reason why I started contributing to anythinglah was because I wanted my posts not only to entertain, but to act as a beacon. I want like-minded individuals to know that I exist, albeit behind a pseudonym, to let them know that there are others like them out here and that I’d love to establish friendships.
(Sidenote: This has been successful so far; I have made new friends and I’ve even seen a side of an existing friend I never knew existed. Now our friendship is even stronger, knowing that we’re both likeminded when it comes to sexuality)
Why do you think it’s imperative for people to express themselves and share their thoughts?
Most people do not live authentic lives. Even I do not live a 100% authentic life. On some level, be it behind a pseudonym like me or completely in the open, people must express their true nature even if it’s considered ‘bad’ by other people. Life is too short to hide these parts of yourself.
People are scared that if they express their true selves they’ll lose people from their lives. This is absolutely true. However, the irony is that when you express yourself openly other people start to filter themselves out and into your life. The ones who don’t like what you’re expressing will leave, but the ones who do will start to show themselves to you.
What attracted you to AL in the first place?
The different fan-bases. Each author has his/her own fanbase, and each each author brings them together through their stories on AL. From there, these different groups are exposed to the works of other authors.
THE FUN QUESTIONS
If you could dine with anyone dead or alive, who would it be and why?
I sincerely have no answer to this, other than to say I’d love to dine with some of the women I follow on instagram (one at a time, obviously). To enjoy their company and share a conversation over good food with a woman I find to be gorgeous; nothing would be more perfect.
What’s your favourite book, and why?
The Art of Seduction by Robert Greene. It helped me understand people better, which is good, but even better it helped me understand myself. It helped me identify repulsive behaviours that I had which I could then manage and remove.
What’s your favourite word?
If you could spend a day in someone else’s shoes, whose would they be? Why?
A physically attractive female. On top of everything I’ve experienced and currently know, can you imagine how powerful I’d be if I had that additional bit of perspective?
What’s been on your mind lately?
I haven’t been in a romantic relationship in a long time. A proper committed relationship. I really want to find someone I can commit to, without settling.
What’s the last text you sent?
What’s one of your favorite memories?
My trips to Kuching which I wrote about. I loved her, and I loved doing dirty things to her. My time spent with her are truly my favourite memories (so far, at least).
What’s one thing about you that surprises people?
That I’m not as intimidating as they initially assume (I have terrible RBF)
Who, or what, was your biggest teacher?
Life. My entire life is one big social experiment. I tried things, I experimented, I reinvented myself plenty of times, hit rock bottom a handful of times and all of it presented me with lessons that now inform everything I do with my life.
What was something you’ve done that made you feel extreme happiness?
Visiting a trained and skillfull BDSM mistress, so I could submit myself to her for a couple hours, and for once, so I didn’t have to be the dominant character that I always am with other people. I’m a naturally dominant person, so I’m extremely careful about who I am willing to surrender myself to; it has to be someone I trust.
Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your 18-year-old self?
Don’t feel guilty or shameful about your sexuality, or about being a ‘pervert’. Instead, focus your energy on refining it so that you can enjoy it with others who enjoy it just as much.
Where is your happy place?
My bedroom. I can’t control the world outside or the people in it, but my bedroom is the one place that’s all mine.
